Into their seventh year as a TeamVodafone sponsor and supplier of vinyl wrapping materials for all TeamVodafone’s racing cars and transporters, Avery Dennison and Triple Eight Race Engineering reflect on what makes the partnership so successful.

Winning is something TeamVodafone from Triple Eight Race Engineering know a lot about. Jamie Whincup is the current V8 Supercars champion and running first in this year’s competition. “We started using Avery Dennison vinyl wrapping materials in 2005. It was the best on the market then and it remains the best on the market now,” explains Peter Jamieson, Commercial Operations Manager, Triple Eight Race Engineering.
Triple Eight Race Engineering use Avery Dennison MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RSTM (base film) and DOL 1360 (overlaminate) for all of their vehicles including the four race cars, two double B transporters and the two delivery vehicles.

TeamVodafone has won ‘Best Presented Team’ for three years in 2008, 2010 and 2011. “It’s an easy product to work with, easy to go on and easy to come off, which makes my job a lot easier”, explains Chris Hobson, Triple Eight’s Bodywork and Panel installer. “We do the printing and installation on all vehicles here at the workshop and we need the process to be fast, and the end product to be flawless, MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RSTM allows this,” explains Chris Hobson.
