Connect with BMW owners

Almost all the BMW M-Club members from Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces recently attended a carnival at Jiulong Mountain, a beautiful resort located in Zhejiang province. The event, which was organized by DC Town, an automotive aftermarket brand, and sponsored by Forgiato, a world renowned custom wheel manufacturer, attracted more than 50 BMW owners. At a rented racetrack on the mountain, owners showed off their fancy cars and took part in performance racing competitions such as drifting. 

One of the key GRS strategies for building the car wrapping business in China is to enhance connections with consumers and the end user market, so the China team donated some wrapping material to DC Town. In return, they gained the brand exposure at the event and were able to join in the activities. It was a great opportunity for them to engage with car owners and key players in the auto aftermarket.

DC Town wrapped five cars with Avery Dennison premium wrapping films, including all the top quality materials – SWF White Pearlescent, UC 900 Ultra Amethyst, SWF Cherry Red Metallic, UC 900 Ultra White and MPI 1005 SC EA RS. The attractive results furnished the vehicles with eye-catching style at this fashionable sport event. 

At the end of the carnival, Puma provided two pairs of sport shoes signed by famous F1 racers, Fernando Alonso Diaz and Felipe Massa, to be auctioned to club members. 

Following the success of this event, the GRS China team plans to take part in more auto fan club activities to raise awareness of the Avery Dennison brand in the automotive aftermarket.
